Pakistan won their first Champions Trophy clash at Edgbaston against South Africa. 

It wasn’t the bad toss to lose for Pakistan but it was the spin made the difference. My worry was the pitch slower more then I anticipated it also reminds me of the slacker in real life under dark clouds. 

South Africa who should be dissatisfied with their performance but still I cannot take anything away from the proteas because show wasn’t over when was the rain falls heavier and pulled the winning boundary by Baber Azam (D/L method) to keeping them alive in champions trophy 2017. 

What worries me as cricketing fan Where is Shoaib Malik? Who did a lot for Pakistan in the past and present. Surely his not in the side to take abuse when things goes wrong in the team as being senior player?. Hopefully management going to look into the equation but he is not no 5 batsman from my point of view. He did pretty good at no 3 in the past possibly he’ll be going to play one of the finest innings to write history in champions trophy in English soil. 

South Africa’s surely be in the nets pulling the socks up and planning big innings after inspirational innings from David Miller who likes to spend little bit of time in the middle and give a whack less showing off his test player skills. 

It was the rain won the race in favour of Pakistan however I won’t get carried away because I always say judge it when all set and done not during the journey. Digging deep is more incorporate to generate more entertainment as well as winning cricket matches.
